This is the most popular (and also traditional) CUSO activity, where PhD students present their research topic to fellow students, under the supervision of some CUSO professors. They get to know each other, and they learn a lot of mathematics outside their field of expertise. We hope that this year also, the publishing house Birkhäuser will award a book voucher to the most pedagogical presentation.

Brig is well-connected to major cities in Switzerland and abroad. There are direct train connections from/to Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Zürich, and Milano. The nearest airports are in Milano-Malpensa, Zürich, and Geneva.
