The general aim of the NetCU project is to develop models, guidelines and strategies for transnational networked curricula that supply a broader range of content and learning activities, that deliver state-of-the-art knowledge in the best quality supported by innovative ICT in an international setting - curricula that are meeting the diverse needs of today's student population and lifelong learners and that are symbolizing a European identity of higher education and lifelong learning in the 21. century.

Project length: 2009-2011

Pools-2 (Producing Open Online Learning Systems - 2) has been approved for an EU grant in the period 2009-2011. POOLS-2 is coordinated by Confederación Española de Centros de Enseñanza (CECE), the teams come from Cyprus, Denmark, Malta, Portugal, Scotland, and Spain. EfVET has been chosen as dissemination partner with access to thousands of vocational colleges across Europe.

Pools-2 is a Transfer of Innovation (TOI) project which will exploit the results from the "original" pools project, which developed materials for language teaching and learning as well as teacher training courses. Pools-2 will transfer the core outputs of pools to three new languages: Greek, Maltese, and Portuguese

The POOLS-2 project target group is teachers of the LWUTL (Less Widely Used and Taught Languages) in technical colleges. Due to the limited range of ICT materials for these languages the teachers often have to develop materials themselves if they want to exploit the many advantages of eLearning.

Lifelong Learning Transfer: Strategy Development & Competence Management

The main aim of the project is to create guidelines for lifelong competence management at institutional level and also a tool for lifelong competence management at individual level so as to permit the sustainable implementation of the concept of lifelong learning.

Innovative OER in European Higher Education (OER-HE)

Project length: 2009 - 2011

EADTU sustains its OER strategies in lifelong open and flexible learning by grant contribution of the European Commission for the project: Innovative OER in European HE (OER HE). A Consortium of eleven European partners has teamed up to extend the achievements on Open Educational Resources (OER) as initially launched under the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation Grants.

Previously EADTU had been working on OER strategies in lifelong open and flexible learning by means of the EADTU task force on Multilingual Open Resources for Independent Learning (MORIL). This task force contained all the European Open Universities of EADTU, and was active in promoting online learning in two modes - informal and formal - both based on OER, so as to provide new gateways to university education

Projektdauer: 2008 - 2011

Das Projekt EduLaP wird im Rahmen der Nationalfonds-Programme durchgeführt und dauert von 2008 bis 2011. Projektleader ist das Psychologische Institut der Universität Zürich. Projektpartner sind alle psychologischen Institute der schweizerischen Universitäten, Switch sowie Universitäre Fernstudien Schweiz (Abteilung Psychologie und IFeL). Im Rahmen des Projekts werden Educational Landscapes (kognitive Landkarten) für das Psychologie-Studium in der Schweiz sowie ein ECTS-Prüfungsfragen-Pool hergestellt.

University Strategiesand
Business Models for Lifelong
Learning in Higher Education (USBM)

Project length: 2008 - 2010

Through comparison, research and debate this project aims at finding out what the successful lifelong learning strategies and business approaches are for all kinds of European universities which are interested in meeting the challenge of lifelong learning. For the FS-CH it will be the opportunity to share its current experience and to develop locally strategies and models that will be put forward in this project.

  European Portal for
International Courses
and Services (EPICS)

Durée du projet: 2008 – 2010

EPICS est un projet qui a pour but de rendre possible aux étudiants européens, pour qui un séjour Erasmus « en présence » n’est pas envisageable, d’inscrire dans leur cursus un échange à distance avec une université européenne. Le projet EPICS prend directement part à ces objectifs en s’attachant à développer une « mobilité virtuelle » des étudiants. Pour cela, les participants au projet EPICS se sont fixés comme objectifs, d’une part, de rassembler et de développer des cours en lignes en provenances de toute l’Europe. D’aider de l’autre, les universités à organiser cette mobilité virtuelle. Cette initiative a reçu un fort soutien de la Commission européenne.

Projet Interreg eCulture

Durée du projet: 2006-2008

Programme eCulture qui vise à capitaliser et renforcer les démarches pédagogiques disponibles en eCulture en France et en Suisse, en impliquant des filières d’Universités, d'écoles Supérieures et de Hautes Ecoles comme partenaires pédagogiques.

E-XCELLENCE +

Projektdauer: 2007 - 2009

E-XCELLENCE + ist eine Fortführung des Projekts E-XCELLENCE, in welchem ein Online-Tool und ein Manual für die Überprüfung, Sicherung und Entwicklung von Qualität im eLearning erstellt wurde. Im Projekt E-XCELLENCE+ soll nun im Rahmen eines zweijährigen Projekts dieses Tool auf lokaler, nationaler und internationaler Ebene valorisiert werden. Ausserdem soll durch weitere Implementationen des Tools in verschiedenen Organisationen die Bekanntheit von E-XCELLENCE gesteigert werden.
